Become an Online Mentor
for Ukraine

One conversation can change a career. No curriculum. No training required. Just your experience.

The Mission

"Many mentees are highly qualified. They need context, not charity."

A conversation with someone who understands their target industry can make the difference between months of rejection and a successful application.

The Role

What you do

You have career conversations. That's it.

  • Meet Ukrainian professionals for 30-60 minute video sessions
  • Review CVs, LinkedIn profiles, and portfolios
  • Help prepare for interviews and assessments
  • Share how hiring works in your industry and country
  • Discuss career transitions, job search strategy, and next steps
  • Offer honest feedback and practical suggestions

"You are a mentor, not a recruiter. You share experience and perspective. You don't promise jobs."

Who this is for

You don't need mentoring experience. You need professional experience worth sharing.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in any field
  • Clear communication skills in English (or another widely spoken language)
  • Willingness to listen, be honest, and focus on practical next steps
  • Openness to work with people from different backgrounds and cultures

Frequently asked questions

Do I need mentoring experience?

No. If you have professional experience worth sharing, you can mentor. We provide guidelines to help you run effective sessions.

How much time do I need?

As little as 1 hour per month. Many mentors do 2-4 sessions monthly. You decide.

What if I need to cancel?

Let the mentee know as early as possible through the platform. Life happens. If cancellations become frequent, contact us and we will help.

What do we talk about?

Whatever the mentee needs. CV feedback, interview practice, career strategy, industry questions. They send a message when booking explaining what they want to discuss.

What if I don't know the answer?

Be honest. Say you don't know. Point them in a useful direction if you can. You don't need to have all the answers.

Can I work with the same mentee over time?

Yes. Many mentors build ongoing relationships with mentees. Others prefer variety. Both are fine.

What languages can I offer?

English is most common. Other languages are welcome and valuable, especially Ukrainian, Polish, and German.

Is it safe?

Yes. Sessions happen inside the platform. We verify mentors via work email and LinkedIn, review applications, and provide clear guidelines. If issues arise, we support you.

When can I start?

After you apply and we review your profile, you can open time slots and start accepting bookings. Timing depends on the review process.
