Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes, completely free. There are no hidden fees and no premium tiers. Our programmes are funded by donations and corporate partnerships.
Do I need to speak English?
No. We welcome all levels, including complete beginners. Many of our volunteers speak Ukrainian, Russian, or other languages.
How much time do I need?
As much or as little as you want. Some people do one session per week, others do more. You control your own schedule.
Can I join from anywhere?
Yes. All programmes are online except the Buddy Program, which is for Ukrainians living in Norway. If you have internet, you can join.
What technology do I need?
A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone. You also need a stable internet connection for video calls.
How long does it take to get started?
You can create a profile and browse volunteers in a few minutes. Most people book their first session within the first week.
What if I have a problem?
Contact us anytime. We have support in Ukrainian and English. If something goes wrong with a session, you can easily book with someone else.
