Development Happens One Person at a Time
TEEI's programmes directly support 6 of the 17 UN SDGs, creating measurable impact through education, mentorship, and opportunity.
Our Theory of Change
The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. These 17 interconnected goals recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-in-hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth.
TEEI's programmes are strategically aligned with 5 of the 17 SDGs. By focusing our efforts on education, employment, and equality, we create ripple effects that contribute to multiple development goals simultaneously. Every Ukrainian we equip with skills, every volunteer we train, and every partnership we forge moves us closer to achieving these global targets by 2030.

How We Measure Impact
For each SDG we support, we track four key dimensions:
- The Problem: The global challenge and how it manifests in Ukraine
- What TEEI Does: Our specific programmes and interventions
- The Proof: Measurable outcomes and success metrics
- The Gap: What more needs to be done to reach 2030 targets
Deep Dive: TEEI's SDG Impact

Quality Education
The Problem
War has disrupted the education of millions of Ukrainian children and displaced professionals who need to upskill in a new country. Traditional education systems are overwhelmed and inaccessible.
What TEEI Does
DataCamp Donates
Free access to 400+ courses in data science, analytics, and AI for displaced Ukrainians.
Language Connect
1-to-1 English tutoring connecting Ukrainian learners with volunteer teachers globally.
Skills Accelerator
Intensive learning tracks in high-demand fields like Python, SQL, and business analytics.
The Proof
- 8,000+ learners enrolled in DataCamp courses
- 73% completion rate (vs. 5% industry average)
- 50,000+ learning hours delivered
- 400+ volunteer educators trained
The Gap
Scale this 10x. 600,000+ Ukrainian youth need reskilling support. Our infrastructure works—we need partners to expand capacity.
Gender Equality
The Problem
Displacement disproportionately impacts women who often become primary caregivers while trying to rebuild careers. Women face barriers to tech and business opportunities.
What TEEI Does
Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative
Accelerator programs (U:START, U:LEARN, U:GROW) supporting women founders with business skills and investor access.
Tech Career Pathways
Targeted mentorship connecting women in tech with industry professionals.
The Proof
- 60%+ of beneficiaries are women
- Launching Together for Her Success initiative
- Building on proven Ukraine work
- Seeking founding partners
The Gap
Partner with us to unlock economic opportunity for displaced women. Every scholarship creates a pathway to financial independence.
Decent Work and Economic Growth
The Problem
Displacement doesn't erase expertise—it just makes it invisible. Skilled professionals can't find work matching their qualifications. The talent is there; the pathways are broken.
What TEEI Does
Mentors for Ukraine
Career mentorship pairing displaced professionals with industry mentors for job search support.
Buddy Program
Workplace integration support for Ukrainians entering new job markets.
Professional Certificates
Industry-recognized credentials from DataCamp, Oxford, and partner institutions.
The Proof
- 2,000+ mentees on Mentors for Ukraine platform
- 400+ professional mentors
- 10,000+ volunteer hours delivered
- CV reviews, interview practice, career guidance
The Gap
Every dollar invested returns $8 in economic productivity. Scale our mentorship to reach 50,000 displaced workers by 2030.
Reduced Inequalities
The Problem
Premium education platforms cost $300-500/year—impossible for someone who lost everything to war. The digital divide becomes an opportunity divide.
What TEEI Does
Scholarship Access
Free access to DataCamp ($399/year value), Oxford English ($200/year value), and career tools.
Multi-Language Support
All programmes available in English, Ukrainian, and Norwegian to remove language barriers.
Zero-Cost Model
No fees, no prerequisites, no barriers—just verified displacement status.
The Proof
- 20,000+ Ukrainians reached
- 50+ countries served
- 100% free access maintained
- No paid staff - 100% to programmes
The Gap
Premium education should be a right, not a privilege. Help us provide $10M in scholarships by 2030.
Partnerships for the Goals
The Problem
No single organization can solve displacement. Impact requires coordination across tech companies, NGOs, governments, and communities.
What TEEI Does
Corporate Partnerships
CSR integrations with DataCamp, Oxford University Press, Kintell, Babbel, and other mission-aligned companies.
NGO Collaboration
Coordination with GlobalGiving, IRC, and humanitarian organizations on the ground.
Open Infrastructure
Open-source tools and playbooks for other nonprofits to replicate our model.
The Proof
- Mission-aligned corporate partners engaged
- Verified partner contributions
- GlobalGiving Top-Ranked organization
- Open-source tools available for replication
The Gap
Join the coalition. Your CSR budget, volunteer hours, or platform access can multiply our impact exponentially.

Third-Party Validation
Our Commitment to Transparency
We publish canonical numbers with "+" suffixes (e.g., 20,000+ Ukrainians) to indicate verified minimums. We update these numbers quarterly through database audits and beneficiary surveys. We never inflate impact for marketing purposes—every number represents a real person or verified outcome.
Partners Making This Possible
We collaborate with world-class organizations to deliver verified impact. Every partnership is built on shared values and measurable outcomes.
