Olena moved to Berlin nine months ago. She has a pharmacy degree. She works cleaning offices because she cannot pass the German pharmacy licensing interview.

She does not need another grammar app. She needs a real person who will sit with her on a video call every Thursday at 6pm and practise the specific German she needs for that interview. How to explain drug interactions. How to ask a supervisor a question. How to follow rapid instructions.

Language Connect provided that person. A volunteer conversation partner matched to the language and schedule she needed. Not a teacher. A conversation partner who showed up reliably, every week.

How It Works

Sign up free

Create an account. Tell us which language you want to practise. No fees. No prerequisites.

Choose a partner

Browse volunteer conversation partners. You choose who you want to practise with based on language, availability, and interests.

Set your schedule

You pick the time. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes on video. You decide what to practise. The volunteer follows your lead.

Keep going

Meet every week for as long as you need. There is no programme end date. When you are ready, move to another TEEI programme.

You receive a verified certificate after every session, shareable on LinkedIn. Corporate teams can track hours through the TEEI CSR portal.
